Japanese Architecture - 30 days drawing

Hey! This is the first of the 30 day drawing challenge and will probably be the hardest one since it is difficult to get into, but it is done! I know I said I would post on Tuesday but I have been busy with work. Anyway, here is my first of 30 drawings:

For this page I really felt inspired by Japanese/Asian architecture. I loosely used reference photos from pinterest. I used fine liner pens for the buildings and for the flowers I used gouache. I decided to include the flowers because I felt like the page was looking a little dull and needed some colour. I also feel like they really filled the space nicely. Overall I am happy with this page and I feel like this has been perfect practice for drawing buildings.
