My Gym Routine

I work out 2-3 hours a day. Feels awesome!!!


Hey! As someone who only goes to the gym maybe 3 times a week this is just a simple routine to get some exercise in every so often. This is in no means a routine for a body builder or even someone who's drastically trying to lose weight, this is just to maintain my fitness. I am not a professional, this is just something I enjoy to do when I go to the gym. Anyway, here it is:

1. When I get into the gym I head straight to the bikes, I do this for 5 minutes at level 7 and 20 resistance. This is just to get warmed up, I take this time to de-tangling my earphones.

2. After this, it's time for stretching, I hold each stretch for about 10 seconds. This is to make sure you don't hurt yourself whilst working out!

3. Next it's time for the treadmill. I'm on the treadmill for 20 minutes at an elevation of 2. I try to put my speed up every so often but at the moment I run at about 8.8 km/h, but you can change this to whatever suits you.

4. When I'm finished with the treadmill I go onto the cross trainers. I stay on this for 10 minutes at an elevation of 5 (I think) and a resistance of 20.

5.FINALLY we are done with cardio and we get to go onto the fun stuff! So I go onto arms first and use the hammer strength machine (I've had to google the names). I do 15 reps then wait for 15 seconds and go again two more times. I have the weight for this one at 25lbs which is low but I struggle with this one.

6. Next I go onto a machine that I do not know the name of but it's similar to the one before however you sit facing the back of the seat and pull the bars towards you. I do the same amount of reps for all of the machine and I have this one set at 37.5lbs

7.Legs time! So First I go onto a machine where I sit on a seat put my legs under a bar and pull it up with my shins. I do this at 37.5lbs.

8. Next is a similar machine but i put my legs over the bar and push it down with my calves and I do this at 50lbs.

9. Finally, I do abs. I go onto the machine where I push down a bar with my chest and tense my abs at the same time, I do this at 62.5lbs.

10. Lastly, I go onto the hanging chair and do leg lifts.

This routine lasts just over an hour and this works perfectly for me.
