My prom is coming up! Up until lately I've never made a huge deal of prom or even been very excited. We've officially been told the date and friends of mine are already finding their prom dress so I thought it was about time for me to think about mine.
So I did what I always do when I need inspiration... I went to pinterest. I knew I wanted something very bohemian and 70's. When I tried '70's prom dress' in the search bar the perfect dress turned up (look above). As soon as I saw this dress I loved it so much, it was everything I wanted. I was majorly disappointed when I couldn't find it for sale anywhere but I knew my mum had been talking about a friend of hers that actually makes custom dresses!
I've decided I like the style of the dress but because I have such pale skin and such dark hair a navy blue colour would work perfectly. I'm still debating the idea of silver detailing on the top half as well (let me know your thoughts!)
The accessories I've thought of to go with the boho theme would be large chunky heals (similar to the one in the photo) and big hippy style earrings. I'd definitely try to keep makeup to a minimum and hair being long wavy curls looking as natural as possible.
